Hosted by Prof. Dr. Holger Gohlke, the 2nd Code𝛘 Summer School took place from 14th to 16th July 2025 at the Computational Pharmaceutical Chemistry Lab (CPClab) of the Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf.
This Summer School offered a valuable opportunity for participants to explore the complex fields of computational chemistry and molecular modelling. The program introduced key topics like homology modelling, molecular docking and molecular dynamics simulations, providing basic knowledge of these computational tools which can significantly support the participants in conducting their interdisciplinary research.
A total of 10 researchers, including 5 Code𝛘 PhD students and 5 postdoctoral researchers from 7 universities and research institutions across Germany, attended the event in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere. The distinguished team of instructors from CPClab delivered insightful lectures on the theoretical concepts and offered one-on-one guided hands-on sessions, enabling participants to directly apply what they learned.
The Code𝛘 coordination office in Siegen sincerely thanks Prof. Gohlke and his dedicated organizational team in Düsseldorf for their remarkable efforts to ensure the success of the Summer School and to provide the participants with a fruitful and enjoyable learning experience.
We look forward to many more successful Code𝛘 events in the future!
