Post-Pre-Meeting on Tuesday 8th November  2022

We will provide the opportunity of a second “Post-Pre-Meeting”, where open questions regarding project ideas and their compatibility with the programme can be discussed. This meeting will take place on 8. November 2022 from 14:00 – 17:00 p.m. via Zoom. Base on the feedback of interested members of the consortium, we have assembled a progamme in thematic order. Please note, that each project will have 15 minutes for description and discussion (5 + 10 minutes, respectively). We are looking forward to meet you and discuss the project ideas. Of course, all members of the consortium are invited to join, as this meeting may open new opportunities for collaborations.

Pre-Meeting on Friday 7th October 2022

Scientists who are interested in submitting a proposal for an individual or a joint project in the first funding period are invited to a preparatory online-meeting hosted by the programme committee and held on Friday,  7 October 2022. In this meeting, the background and the organisational structure of the Priority Programme will be presented. Furthermore, breakout sessions will facilitate networking amongst potential applicants and provide information about the project submission. If you want to present your project idea in one of the breakout sessions, please prepare a single Powerpoint slide to illustrate your research. The program of the pre-meeting is attached to this email and includes the Zoom-Link.
Participation in this meeting is not a prerequisite, but it is highly recommended for the submission of proposals in the scope of this programme.
If you are interested to participate please register by 1 October 2022 with the coordinator by email stating “Preparatory Meeting SPP 2416” in the subject line (as far as you haven’t done this already). We encourage you to submit a short outline of your project idea together with the contact data, a summary of expertise and 2–3 references of important articles via the CodeChi Webpage (www.codechi.de). These data will be made accessible to all registered members of the consortium via a protected area of the SPP’s website. To access the protected area, scroll to the bottom of the page, press “Member Area” and enter the password, which will be provided by the coordinator of the priority programme upon request (hans.merzendorfer@uni-siegen.de).
